This may look like a plate of French fries but appearances are deceiving. This is a plate of fried pieces of eggplant. In Spanish eggplant is berenjena.
Do I agree with the decision to fry our only vegetable of the week? No. But it was delicious. It’s even better when it’s covered in honey.
