Recently, I’ve been on a shopping frenzy. I keep going to stores and trying on new stuff. The past few times, something strange has happened.
It goes like this: I see a cute skirt. I find it in my size. I bring it to the dressing room. I put it on only to realize that it is not, in fact, a skirt but shorts. Shorts. Not a skort. Shorts.
Every time it happens, I am not only disappointment but confused. Who is buying these shorts? They’re horribly unflattering and shorts made of flowy fabric are not really in style. Is someone trying to bring them back? And bring them back from when or what?
